Trader sources have said that while the average spot market price ranges for US import hot dipped galvanized (HDG) and Galvalume markets continue to remain neutral, that customers are concerned about the possibility of COVID-19 related supply chain disruptions.

“A lot of my customers are calling to ask whether they’ll still get their steel,” a source said. “As of now, our company hasn’t heard anything about delays or disruptions to shipments, but it’s definitely on the minds of our customers.”
