US domestic plate prices are being heard in the range of $46-$47 cwt. ($1,014-$1,036/mt or $920-$940/nt), ex-mill. Prices are up slightly from last week, when prices were heard at $46 cwt. ($1,014/mt or $920/nt), ex-mill. The widening of the spot market transaction range is linked to last week’s $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) mill-announced price increases.
