US CRC, HDG prices still rising after price increase announcements

Spot market prices for both US domestic cold rolled and hot dipped galvanized coil have continued to climb.

Current price ranges for CRC and HDG coil are now trending at approximately $54-$56 cwt.  ($1,191-$1,235/mt or $1,080-$1,120/nt), FOB mill, and $53.50-$55.50 cwt. ($1,179-$1,224/mt or $1,070-$1,110/nt), FOB mill, respectively.

Prices for both products are up substantially the middle of last month, when CRC spot market offers were trending at $51.50-$53.50 cwt. ($1,135-$1,179/mt or $1,030-$1,070/nt), FOB mill, and HDG base prices were being heard at $48.50-$51.50 cwt. ($1,069-$1,135/mt or $970-$1,030/nt), FOB mill.
