Demand has remained silent this week in the Turkish flat steel market. Nevertheless, Turkish steel producer Erdemir has raised its ex-stock prices for flat rolled products by approximately $20-30/mt.

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that the main reason for this price increase is Erdemir's desire to close the gap between its ex-stock product prices and its new production prices.
