Turkish domestic HDG prices decrease

Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish hot dip galvanized coil (HDG) market has remained at low levels. Meanwhile, Turkish steel mills have been facing weak demand both in their domestic and export markets, and so they have reduced their domestic HDG prices. Despite lower domestic HDG quotations, market sources do not expect a revival in demand due to the weakness of local end-user demand and the Easter holiday in Turkey’s biggest export market, Europe.
