Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish coated steel market has remained at very low levels due to the Feast of Sacrifice holiday. As of this week, buyers have started to make price inquiries but are also exerting downward pressure on prices. Market sources state that current price cuts do not satisfy buyers and so they believe prices will decrease further. Due to this expectation, buyers are postponing their orders and are concluding purchases only for their immediate needs.
