Over the past week, domestic stainless steel prices in Turkey have remained unchanged. Turkish producers’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still at $2,400-2,500/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still standing at $1,400-1,500/mt ex-works, both indicating sideways movement week on week.

According to market sources, demand for stainless steel in Turkey recovered a little over the past week. Meanwhile, Turkish stainless steel traders have increased their prices slightly since their inventories are not at sufficient levels and also due to the rises recorded in alloy surcharges. Turkish traders’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are now at $2,450-2,550/mt ex-warehouse and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are standing at $1,500-1,600/mt ex-warehouse, down $100/mt as compared to the previous week.
