SSAB announces plate price increase

SSAB America today joined Evraz and Nucor in announcing they will increase transaction prices on all new orders of carbon cut-to-length plate by a minimum of $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective immediately. Similar to the Evraz and Nucor announcements, SSAB did not establish a new, minimum base pricing.
