Severstal’s flat steel offers to Turkey indicate further rise for February output

Russian steel producer Severstal has increased its flat steel offers to Turkey for its February production as compared to the latest transaction levels in the past month. Accordingly, the mill's hot rolled coil (HRC) offers have increased by $5/mt, while its prices for cold rolled coil (CRC) have moved up by $30/mt and plate prices indicated increases by $5/mt. The offer prices of these products to Turkey had also been increased for January output.
 
On the other hand, for low tonnages of HRC the offers given by the mill are at $630/mt, while Severstal has announced that it will accept firm bids for all products.
