Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has remained slack, while Turkish producers have maintained their CRC prices at $680-690/mt ex-works. Market sources state that buyers continue to postpone their bookings and prefer to monitor the global market due to the Feast of Sacrifice holiday starting on Monday, August 20. Meanwhile, domestic CRC demand in Turkey is not expected to accelerate rapidly after the holiday.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have remained stable week on week.
