Prices in European flat steel market indicate diverse trends

According to market sources, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the local European flat steel market have remained stable over the past two weeks at €455-515/mt ($514-582/mt) ex-works. In the same period domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in Europe have moved down by €15/mt to €535-585/mt ($605-661/mt) ex-works and hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices have declined by €15/mt to €540-590/mt ($610-667/mt) ex-works.
