Prices decrease further in European flat steel market

According to market sources, prices in the local European flat steel market have continued their downward movement over the past month. In the given period, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices have declined by €20/mt to €460-520/mt ($524-593/mt) ex-works, cold rolled coil (CRC) prices have decreased by €15/mt to €555-605/mt ($633-690/mt) ex-works and hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices have declined by €10/mt to €560-610/mt ($638-695/mt) ex-works.
