Until last week, Brazilian exporters were considering up to $470/mt FOB for slab offers of the basic commercial grades, but sources say this level is no longer available, with fresh deals more likely to be closed in the range of $440/mt to $460/mt, FOB conditions.

Additionally, sources tell SteelOrbis that all Brazilian slabs exporters are sold out for delivery in December and part of January 2018.

In October, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported slab at $439/mt, Companhia Siderurgica do Pecem at $421/mt, Ternium Brazil at $432/mt and Gerdau Acominas at $405/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in August.
