A market source in Brazil told SteelOrbis that the reference price for Galvalume exports is currently $800/mt, CFR for sales to countries in Europe, AZ-150 grade product, the same from two weeks ago.
In October, Brazil exported 6,900 mt of Galvalume, of which 6,700 mt at $977/mt, FOB conditions, by CSN to the US.
Meanwhile, Brazil imported in October 23,000 mt of the product, of which 22,900 mt at $729/mt from China, also FOB conditions.
The last offer of Galvalume received by a Brazilian importer from China was priced at $750/mt, CFR conditions to a port in the south or southeastern coast.
