The last offer for Brazilian import CRC from China was priced at $530/mt, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with the SAE 1008/SPCC grade as reference, stable from two weeks ago.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 2,994/mt ($567/mt), ex-works, no taxes included. Some producers are considering a 10 percent increase for prices, effective from June 1, arguing that offers are valued at a discount from the equivalent imported product.
