The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $572/mt, CFR conditions for shipment to a port in the south or southeastern coast of Brazil, with the SAE 1008/SPCC grade as reference, roughly stable from four weeks ago.

In August, Brazil imported 8,800 mt of CRC, against 7,500 mt in July. China was the main origin (5,700 mt at $605/mt), followed by South Korea (2,700 mt at $700/mt), and Taiwan (300 mt at $939/mt), while small volumes were imported from Japan and Sweden.

Meanwhile, Brazil exported in August 2,100 mt of CRC, of which 1,900 mt by Usiminas at $599/mt, and 200 mt by ArcelorMittal at $727/mt, both FOB conditions and different quality grades.
