Outokumpu announces March surcharges

Finland-based steelmaker Outokumpu has announced alloy surcharges for its stainless steel grades effective for March 2007. According to the statement released by the company, Outokumpu will apply an alloy surcharge of Euro 2,347 per ton on its 304 series for March 2007 deliveries. The surcharge on the 304 series for February 2007 is Euro 2,199 per ton. In addition, the alloy surcharge for March on the 316 series will be Euro 3,976 per ton, up Euro 185 from the February surcharge, while the 430 ferritic grade series will be subject to an alloy surcharge of Euro 233 per ton - the same as the February surcharge.
