Mills have not established new, minimum base pricing.

Nucor Plate Mill today also announced they would be raising prices, by a minimum of $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective immedidately. Similar to Nucor Sheet Mill Group's announcement, the plate increase letter  did not establish new, minimum base pricing.

Nucor's increase follows a similar increase announced by SSAB last Friday. This is the second plate increase announced this month.
