Nucor, AMUSA and NMLK USA announce price increase for flat rolled steel

Nucor, NLMK USA and AMUSA today announced they would be raising prices for hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC) and hot dipped galvanized coil (HDG) by a minimum of $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt) effective with all new orders.

As of this week, current pricing for flat rolled steel is as follows:

HRC: $30-$31 cwt. ($661-$683/mt or $600-$620/nt)
CRC: $38-$40 cwt. ($838-$882/,mt or $760-$800/nt)
Base price HDG: $37-$38 ($816-$838/mt or $740-$760/nt)
