Demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has remained at low levels over the past week. It is observed that Turkish buyers have continued to postpone their purchases as they monitor the global flat steel market. According to market sources, uncertainty has continued to prevail in the market as there has been a delay in confirming election results, and so demand in the local Turkish CRC market is not expected to revive in the coming days. Under the current circumstances, producers in the local Turkish CRC market have kept their domestic prices stable week on week at $600-620/mt ex-works.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have moved sideways week on week and are at the following levels:

0.6 mm CRC

650-660

660-680

0.7-2 mm CRC
