During the given week, demand for steel plate has not shown significant improvement, while traders have mostly been cautious on the future prospects for the steel plate market. Currently, inventories of steel plate have been at relatively low levels, which will bolster the steel plate market.

Meanwhile, due to the approaching National Day Holiday (October 1-7), buyers are expected to build up stocks ahead of the holiday and the resulting bullish sentiment will exert a positive impact on the steel plate market.
