Italy’s Riva again increases base flat steel prices

Italian steelmaker Riva has increased its base flat steel prices in the local Italian market. Accordingly, the company's HRC base price level has increased to €400/mt ($569/mt) ex-works, its CRC base price level has risen to €450/mt ($640/mt) ex-works, while its HDG base price level has gone up to €460/mt ($655/mt). All of Riva's base prices have risen by €20/mt as compared to last week.

On the other hand, another Italian mill Arvedi's HRC prices are standing at the level of €400/mt ($569/mt) ex-works, whereas ArcelorMittal's HRC prices are at €385/mt ($548/mt) ex-works, its CRC prices are at €430/mt ($612/mt) ex-works and its HDG prices are at €450/mt ($640/mt) ex-works.
