During the past week, import flat steel offers to Turkey have increased further due to the ongoing rises seen both in global flat steel quotations and in the local Turkish flat steel market. However, the upward movement of import prices has caused demand to decline, with Turkish buyers considering the current levels to be on the high side.

During the given week, ex-CIS hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey have increased by $10/mt on the lower end and by $20/mt on the upper end to $630-650/mt CFR Turkey, while ex-CIS cold rolled coil (CRC) quotations to Turkey have moved up by $5/mt on the lower end and by $10/mt on the upper end week on week to $665-690/mt CFR Turkey.
