During the past week, demand for import flat steel in Turkey has remained at low levels and offers have remained unchanged. Market sources state that Turkish buyers continue to postpone their bookings as they want to wait until they gain a clearer picture of the future trend of the market after the long holiday in China.

Accordingly, Ukrainian and Russian hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey have both remained stable week on week at $600-605/mt CFR and $600-610/mt CFR, respectively. Meanwhile, Ukrainian and Russian cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Turkey have also remained stable week on week, at $630-640/mt CFR and $640-660/mt CFR, respectively.
