Brazilian producers are negotiating export HRC of the basic commercial grades in a FOB price range of $590/mt to $600/mt, against $590/mt last week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.
The source expects more price increases in the short term, in line with international steel price trends.
In December 2017, Arcelor Mittal exported HRC at $538/mt, CSN exported at $580/mt and Usiminas exported at $785/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in October 2017.
