HRC export offers stable in Brazil

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with South American clients in a reference price of $760/mt, stable from two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.

In December, Brazil exported 34,800 mt of HRC, while importing 4,000 mt of the product.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is offered at BRL 4,454/mt ($826/mt), against BRL 4,696/mt two weeks ago, CFR conditions, no taxes included. Such price refers to high and medium sized volumes of the product, when sold directly to large consumers or to distributors.
