HDG export price maintains long-term stability in Brazil

Brazilian producers remain negotiating hot dipped galvanized products (HDG) for export at $810/mt, FOB conditions, two local exporters told SteelOrbis. The reference price is stable since the first half of February.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HDG is sold by distributors at BRL 4,800/mt ($1,455/mt), ex-works, full taxes except IPI, having the Z-100, 1.11mm thickness product as reference.

As for imports, the most recent HDG offer received by Brazilian importers from China was priced at $730/mt, FOB conditions.
