HDG export offers remain stable in Brazil

The reference price Brazilian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) exports to South American countries is $1,200/mt, FOB conditions, having the G40 grade and 4.75mm thickness product as reference, stable over the last four weeks.

In December, Brazil exported 51,000 mt of HDG, in average at $1,510/mt/mt and imported 44,800 mt of the product at $1,135/mt, both FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HDG is currently sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, to end users or distributors, at BRL 6,406/mt ($1,102/mt) against BRL 6,456/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
