Flat steel spot prices have remained mostly stable in Turkey as compared to last week, while demand is still at sufficient levels. Stocks are still low and so the issue of availability persists. However, the market outlook remains rather positive, taking into account that producers are still bullish in the local market in Turkey. "Demand and prices in the spot market continue to be supported by low stocks levels, and we do not expect to see any possible positive change in stock levels in the short term. Also, producers' prices are still on an uptrend and new increases will very likely be seen also in spot prices," a trader told SteelOrbis.

Spot prices have increased by $10/mt for HR pickled materials and have not changed for CRC and HRC materials, week on week.
