Despite the weak demand for shipbuilding plate in Turkey some offers from Ukraine have been recently heard.
SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Ukrainian mill Donetsk Iron and Steel Works' (DMZ) offers of shipbuilding plate to Turkey are now standing at the base price level of $720/mt FOB for November shipments. In the meantime, another Ukrainian producer Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich) is offering shipbuilding plate to Turkey at $765-770/mt CFR, also for November shipments.
