CIS-based cold rolled coil (CRC) producers have managed to close deals to Turkey with some significant price increases.

Ukraine’s Metinvest has recently sold some tonnage at $535/mt CFR, up by at least $35/mt since early last week. Russia’s NLMK has sold at similar levels recently, while it is currently targeting $540-545/mt CFR, SteelOrbis has learned.

Domestic CRC prices in Turkey are relatively unchanged at $575-590/mt ex-works. Some local suppliers are targeting $600/mt ex-works, while some have decided to stop offering for now.
