Ex-China offers on flats to Chile see mixed movements

On February 27, offers on flats from China to Chile were reported for HRC at $530-545/mt CFR, CRC at $635-650/mt CFR, HDG at $665-675/mt CFR and heavy plate at $505-510/mt CFR.
Sources have informed SteelOrbis that Chinese producers of HDG coil and CRC have lowered their offers to secure orders for April shipments.

Offers from China to Chile for flats are presently as follows: HRC at $540-545/mt, CRC at $625-635/mt CFR, HDG at $660-670/mt CFR, and heavy plate at $505-510/mt CFR. These numbers reflect an increase of $10/mt on the bottom of the range for HRC, a decrease of $10/mt on the bottom of the range and $15/mt on the top of the range for CRC, and a decrease of $5/mt on HDG. Heavy plate prices are reported stable for the last two weeks.
