On November 28, SteelOrbis reported ex-China offers to Chile for flat steel at $590-600/mt CFR for HRC, $635-645/mt CFR for CRC, and HDG at $695-705/mt CFR. On December 1, sources informed SteelOrbis that ex-China offers to Chile for flat steel are now reportedly at $600/mt CFR for HRC, $640-650/mt CFR for CRC, and HDG at $700-710/mt CFR. The ranges represent an increase of $10/mt from the bottom of the HRC range, and an increase of $5/mt on CRC and HDG.

Sources note that offers to Brazil are $10-20/mt higher than those reported in Chile. Additionally, as a result of increases on Chinese origin material, ex-Brazil flat steel material offered in the region is also increasing.
