SteelOrbis last reported Vietnam import HRC prices on August 9. At the time, low-volume ex-China deals were reported at $495-500/mt CFR at the time. Due to the oversupply environment in the region, offers were reportedly at $495-505/mt CFR in the period from various source countries including India. Ex-China offers were on the higher end of the range at $500-505/mt CFR.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that ex-China HRC offer prices have declined and are presently at $485-490/mt CFR, down $15/mt from both the bottom and top of the respective previous offer range.
