SteelOrbis has learned that ex-South Africa HRC offers to the UAE have been at $480/mt CFR Dubai for March shipments, whereas it is heard that ex-South Africa deal for 5,000 mt of HRC with 1.2 mm thickness have been concluded to Saudi Arabia at $550/mt CFR, also for March shipments.
Saudi Arabian flats market seems lively; however it is observed that there is no big interest from the UAE for the abovementioned price level. It is reported that the UAE has concluded some flats deals from Ukraine and Russia instead.
