Domestic CRC prices in Turkey increase

Due to the ongoing increases in global raw material prices, Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) producers were expected to raise their prices for the domestic market. With the additional support from the uptrend of domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices this week, Turkish mills increased their CRC prices by $50/mt early this week to $680-700/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, Turkish buyers have continued to make bookings only to meet their immediate needs.

Meanwhile, Turkish traders’ CRC prices in the local spot market have increased by $30/mt week on week to the following levels:

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis, for December delivery, and exclude 18 percent VAT.
