Demand in the local Turkish stainless steel market is still at low levels. Turkish producers’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still at $2,400-2,500/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still standing at $1,400-1,500/mt ex-works, both indicating sideways movement week on week.
Meanwhile, Turkish traders have reduced their prices as they want to destock due to the weakness of demand. Accordingly Turkish traders’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are now at $2,350-2,450/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are standing at $1,400-1,450/mt ex-works.
