Demand in the local Turkish hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil market is observed to have accelerated during the past week. Due to the improved demand and the ongoing rises seen in prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) - the raw material used by coated steel producers, coated steel producers in Turkey have revised their domestic prices upwards.
Accordingly, domestic producers’ HDG prices in the local Turkish market, excluding 18 percent VAT, are at the following levels:
