On June 7, Pakistani producers of cold rolled (CR) and hot dip galvanized (HDG) coils increased their offer prices further, citing high input costs.
Accordingly, local prices of CR and HDG coils in Pakistan have increased by $19/mt (PKR 3,000/mt) compared to the previous offers voiced on May 25. However, due to the fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee-US dollar exchange rate, the dollar-based quotations have risen only by $13-14/mt.
