Chinese flat steel export offer prices have indicated a stable trend for most products over the past week, while prices of cold rolled coil (CRC) have moved up slightly. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $425-435/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm CRC given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $465-475/mt FOB.
During the given week, the overall upward movement of the domestic finished steel market has provided some support for Chinese flat steel export offer prices in the market. Meanwhile, decreases in overall domestic finished steel inventory levels have also helped stabilize flat steel export offer prices. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will move up slightly in the coming week.
