During the given week, ferrous metal futures prices in China have decreased, exerting a negative impact on steel plate prices in the domestic spot market. Meanwhile, colder weather conditions have had a negative influence on demand from downstream users. However, inventory levels of steel plate have decreased, easing the pressure on the market from the supply side. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
