During the given week, average steel plate prices in China have continued to decline, though at the end of last week rebounds were observed in futures and spot steel prices in China. Meanwhile, overall inventory levels of steel plate have also declined, providing some support for steel plate prices in the market. With the downward movement of domestic finished steel prices having lost momentum, it is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
