Brazilian producers are negotiating exports of HRC to South American countries at $540/mt, CFR conditions for the basic commercial grades.

In October, Brazil exported 131,000 mt of HRC, against 174,900 mt in September. The destinations were South American countries (66,800 mt at $465/mt), Vietnam (60,100 mt at $404/mt) and the Dominican Republic (4,100 mt at $486/mt), all FOB conditions, with different quality grades and price deals probably closed in August.

Most of the exports were from ArcelorMittal, 130,300 mt, while Usiminas exported 700 mt.
