ArcelorMittal USA announces flat rolled steel price increase

ArcelorMittal USA today announced it would be raising prices on all flat rolled steel products by a minimum of $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), effective with all new orders. The move comes after similar announcements from Nucor and US Steel.

Current prices for HRC, CRC and HDG are as follows:

HRC: $40.00-$43.00 cwt. ($882-$948/mt or $800-$860/nt)
CRC: $45.50-$47.50 cwt. ($1,014-$1,047/mt or $910-$950/nt)
HDG: $45.00-$48.00 cwt. ($992-$1,058/mt or $900-$960/nt)
