AK Steel and NLMK USA today announced they would be raising prices on all flat rolled steel products by $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt) effective with all new orders.
As of this morning, the most commonly heard price ranges for US HRC, CRC and HDG are as follows:
HRC: $33-$35 cwt. ($728-$772/mt or $660-$700/nt)
CRC: $41-$43 cwt. ($904-$948/mt or $820-$860/nt)
HDG: $40-$42 cwt. ($882-$926/mt or $800-$840/nt)
