Notable wire rod, pipe, HRC, HDG and slab shipments into the US, April 4-10

Wire rod:

• Three shipments totaling 7,183 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on April 8 from Chinese ports.

Pipe:

• 16,223 metric tons of SAW line pipe arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on April 7 from West Coast Indian ports.
• Nine shipments totaling 2,488 metric tons of line pipe arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on April 5 from the Port of Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

HRC:

• Five shipments totaling 2,513 metric tons of pickled and oiled HRC arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on April 8 from the Port of Shanghai, China.

HDG:

• Five shipments totaling 7,430 metric tons of HDG coil arrived into the Port of Tampa, Florida on April 6 from the Port of Lido, Italy.
• Two shipments totaling 1,314 metric tons of HDG sheet arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on April 8 from Chinese ports.

Slab:

• 19,347 metric tons of steel slab arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on April 8 from the Port of Pohang, South Korea.
