Notable wire rod, pipe and plate shipments into the US, July 3-10

According to Zepol:

Wire Rod:

  • Two shipments totaling 3,768 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on July 6 from Chinese ports.
  • Four shipments totaling 4,863 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on July 7 from Chinese ports.
  • Three shipments totaling 4,562 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on July 7 from Chinese ports (different consignee).
Pipe:
  • 10 shipments totaling 8,398 metric tons of API 5ct J55 seamless OCTG pipe arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on July 6 from the Port of Kwangyang, South Korea.
Plate:
  • Six shipments totaling 2,211 metric tons of hot rolled steel plate arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on July 9 from the Port of Monfalcone, Italy.
