Notable wire rod, pipe and CRC shipments into the US, August 29-September 4

Wire Rod:

  • 1,478 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on September 2 from the Port of Richard's Bay, South Africa.
  • Two shipments totaling 3,109 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Mobile, Alabama on September 3 from ports south of Recife, Brazil.
Pipe:
  • Four shipments totaling 6,668 metric tons of ERW OCTG tubing arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on August 31 from the Port of Saigon, Vietnam.
CRC:
  • Two shipments totaling 1,769 metric tons of hot rolled coil arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on September 2 from the Port of Dalian, China.
