Notable wire rod and slab shipments into the US, June 27-July 2

According to Zepol:

Wire Rod:

  • 3,044 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Charleston, South Carolina on June 27 from the Port of Zhanjiang, China.
  • Three shipments totaling 2,612 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Charleston, South Carolina on July 2 from ports south of Recife, Brazil.
Slab:
  • 20,363 metric tons of steel slab arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on June 29 from the Port of Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico.
