Notable HDG, billet, wire rod HRC and pipe shipments into the US, August 15-21

 

 

According to Zepol:

HDG:

• Five shipments totaling 5,383 metric tons (mt) of hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coils arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on August 18 from the Port of Mumbai, India.
• Four shipments totaling 2,100 metric tons (mt) of hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coils arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on August 18 from West Coast Indian Ports.

Semi-finished:

• 3,209 metric tons (mt) of steel billet arrived into the Port of Georgetown, South Carolina on August 14 from the Port of Veracruz, Mexico.

Wire rod:

• Two shipments totaling 1,069 metric tons (mt) of wire rod arrived into the Port of Charleston, South Carolina on August 21 from the Port of Bremerhaven, Germany.
• 2,870 metric tons (mt) of wire rod arrived into the Port of Stockton, California on August 20 from Chinese ports.

Hot rolled coil: 

• 2,787 metric tons (mt) of hot rolled coil (HRC) arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on August 21 from the Port of Bremen, Germany.

Pipe:

• 16 shipments totaling 1,229 metric tons (mt) of seamless standard pipe arrived into the Port of Los Angeles, California on August 15 from the Port of Shanghai, China.
